A while after showing this image
on a forum I used to visit, I recieved a comment about how interesting it would be to expand the idea of combining werecreatures and cyberpunk elements. It did inspire me, I imagined a few snippets, though not glued together by any actual story. This is one of them:
Two wolves talking about "stealth support", and an image of a fox infiltrating a distribution center of something.
"I think cats make way better spies than foxes."
"Sure. Their movements are more silent. They're much better climbers. If anything goes wrong, they have sharper claws. And that tail… How do foxes manage to do anything with that bulky furball on their asses?"
"Technically true. But I dare say you've never met with a cat up close."
"Why do you think?"
"Because you'd know what stuck-up elitists they are. They refuse to do anything unless they're in command, and when they are, they stubbornly follow only their own ideas. Really, they're a pain to work with. That's why most of them are just mercenary informators."
"And then there's the boasting thing. While foxes go inside, do the job and return (if they do), a cat always has the need for an extra show-off stunt. It can be anything, from changing wallpaper on the security's computers to coughing up a hairball on the major authority figure's chair"
"That's just stereotype talk."
"It had to originate somewhere. I'd rather have a rat do a spy job than a cat."
"Oh, no way! Rats are better off doing sabotage jobs."
"You were saying something about stereotypes?"
"Well, of all the rats I knew, none of them could resist chewing on computer cables."
